Man, 31, dies in crash on A486 in Ceredigion

A "beloved" 31-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash.

Police said Llyr Evans was killed when his Ford Ranger crashed on the A486 in Ffostrasol, Ceredigion, at about 22:00 BST on Wednesday.

Mr Evans was pronounced dead at the scene and police are appealing for information.

His family said in a statement: "We as a family are devastated to confirm the loss of our beloved son, brother and uncle."

"We'd like to thank you for all the messages and support we have received and kindly ask for privacy to grieve at this difficult time."

Dyfed-Powys Police appealed for information and said Mr Evans was travelling south from the direction of Synod Inn when he crashed.
