Man charged after girl, six, hit by car in Splott, Cardiff

A man has admitted injuring a six-year-old girl in a hit-and-run.
The girl was hit by a car in the Splott area of Cardiff on Saturday at about 20:00 BST.
The 28-year-old man pleaded guilty of driving while disqualified, causing serious injury whilst driving while disqualified, failing to stop after an accident and driving without insurance.
Cardiff magistrates remanded the accused, from Splott, to appear at the city's crown court on 20 May.
The girl is being treated in hospital.
