One dead after crash closes Cardiff A4232 dual carriageway

A person has died after a serious crash between two vehicles, which closed one of Cardiff's main roads.
Two people were taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff after the crash on the A4232, which happened at about 16:30 BST.
The ambulance service later said one person had died.
One lane of the dual carriageway remains closed southbound from Capel Llanilltern to Leckwith Interchange until further notice.
The second lane has re-opened with very slow traffic, according to Traffic Wales.
Cars had been left queued up along the road, which leads from the M4 to Cardiff Bay.
Motorists took to social media where they described "gridlock" for more than than two hours, with traffic at a standstill.
Cardiff Bus also tweeted that congestion as a result of the crash was having a knock-on effect, external on its services.
Two appliances and a specialist rescue tender vehicle were sent to the incident by the fire service.

Meanwhile an earlier crash involving three vehicles on the M4 westbound at Miskin also caused delays, but all lanes have now been reopened.
