Holywell fire: Homes evacuated after gas bottle fire

A number of homes were evacuated after a gas bottle fire in Flintshire.

People on Village Road in Pentre Halkyn, Holywell, were asked to keep their windows shut.

Crews from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance until 21:00 GMT on Thursday after being called to the scene at 16:35.

The fire service said no-one was injured and no properties were damaged in the blaze, which was confined to the gas bottle.
