Brecon: Investigation after war memorial plaque stolen

The plaque on a trig point was placed there to remember the fallen in conflict

A war memorial plaque has been stolen from a plinth on a summit in the Brecon Beacons.

The plaque, engraved with lines from Laurence Binyon's poem For the Fallen, was removed from a trig point in Glan Dulais, Felinfach.

It was taken at some point between Sunday 6 December and Saturday 12 December, Dyfed Powys Police said.

Anyone with any information about the plaque has been asked to contact the force.
