A man has appeared in court charged with murdering his own grandmother.
Police launched a murder investigation after a woman's body was found following a fire at a property in Ruabon, Wrexham, in the early hours of Thursday, 11 February.
Kyle Ellis, 25, of New Hall Road, Ruabon, was remanded in custody after he appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday.
Mr Ellis is charged with murdering Susan Hannaby, who was 69.
