Swansea stabbing: Man charged as victim in critical condition

A man has been charged following a stabbing that has left another man critically ill in hospital.
The attack happened at a property in Carlton Terrace in Swansea's Mount Pleasant area at 01:00 GMT on Sunday.
A 29-year-old from Swansea is in custody charged with wounding with intent and will appear at Swansea Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
A 34-year-old man remains in a critical condition at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
"I understand that this incident may have caused some concern in the local community," said Det Insp Marc Gardner of South Wales Police.
"However I would like to reassure the residents of the Mount Pleasant area that this was an isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident."
