Western Avenue: Cardiff A48 reopens after three-vehicle crash

A major road in Cardiff was closed in both directions for more than two hours after a three-vehicle crash.
South Wales Police was called to the eastbound carriageway of the A48 Western Avenue at about 13:10 BST.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area between Cardiff Road and Eastern Avenue after the collision.
Traffic queues formed along the dual carriageway and Cardiff Road until the road reopened shortly before 15:30.
