Murder arrest in Trellech, Monmouthshire, after man, 56, dies

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 56 year old.

Gwent Police were called to Church Road, Trellech, Monmouthshire, on Saturday at about 20:40 GMT after an alleged serious assault.

Paramedics also attended and confirmed the man had died.

A 40-year-old man is being questioned by police, who are also appealing for witnesses.
