Cardiff: Boy, 16, seriously injured in stabbing incident

The stabbing happened on Caerau Lane in the Ely area of Cardiff

A 16-year-old boy has been seriously injured in a stabbing incident.

The attack happened at Caerau Lane, Ely, Cardiff, at about 16:55 GMT on Tuesday.

After emergency services were called, he was taken to the city's University Hospital of Wales where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries, South Wales Police said.

Officers are trying to track down those involved in the assault and have appealed for witnesses.
