Gronant: Person dies and another critical after crash

The accident happened in the early hours of Sunday

A person has died and another is in a critical condition in hospital after a car crash.

North Wales Police said a silver BMW was involved in the crash on the A548 at Gronant, Flintshire, at about 05:00 BST on Sunday.

Sgt Emlyn Hughes said the family of the person who died were being supported by specially trained officers.

The force is appealing for witnesses, including anyone who may have dashcam footage.
