Corwen: Fire crews and helicopter tackle forest blaze

Firefighters remain at the scene of a forest blaze which started on Saturday afternoon.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call at about 14:30 BST about the fire in forestry in Corwen, Denbighshire.

Nine fire crews were initially sent to the scene but that has been reduced to two from Corwen and Caernarfon on Sunday.

A helicopter has also been used to drop water on the blaze.

The fire service urged people to stay away from the area.
