- Published
One person has been rescued after a large fire destroyed a caravan repair centre building.
Up to 100 firefighters tackled the blaze, which broke out at Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate, Blaenavon, Torfaen, at around 22:45 BST on Wednesday.
Plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the fire, which has left 21 nearby properties without power.
The person who was rescued was suffering from smoke inhalation.
While the fire is now out, crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service remain at the scene to dampen down and to carry out inspections to establish the cause of the fire.
Over 40 South Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews attended the scene.
Head of Risk Reduction for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, Jason Evans, said: "We would also like to thank the public for their cooperation during this complex and arduous incident.
"Officers will remain at the scene for a number of hours to carry out investigations and we'd like to remind the public to proceed with caution in and around the area.
"Our crews worked tirelessly to secure the area and worked with partner agencies to bring the incident to a safe conclusion."
Gwent Police and Welsh Ambulance Service confirmed they also attended the blaze.

There is still thick smoke coming from the building but everything inside has gone.
Burnt out vehicles are still on the forecourt, but they are now just metal and wheels.
You can still smell the smoke, even from quite far away, carried on a windy day across Blaenavon.
Local people have been back and forth to the site, concerned about the man who had to be rescued and the people who worked here - now uncertain over what their future holds.
