National Eisteddfod: Police investigate sex assault allegation

The National Eisteddfod is a week-long Welsh language cultural festival, held in a different location each year

An allegation of sexual assault at the National Eisteddfod is being investigated by police.

The alleged assault happened at the main stage area of the Tregaron, Ceredigion, event at about 20:50 BST on 3 August.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and released under investigation.

Dyfed-Powys Police said there were no reports of spiking being involved.
