Flintshire: One in hospital after car overturns in crash

One person was transported to hospital by ambulance

One person has been taken to hospital after a car crashed and overturned on a rural road in Flintshire.

The incident happened shortly before 09:00 GMT in Pen-y-Ffordd, near Holywell, on Thursday morning.

The Welsh Ambulance Service said it sent an ambulance to the scene where it transported the victim to Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, Denbighshire, for further treatment.

The road was closed but has since reopened.
