Gwynedd: Motorcyclist dies at scene after crash

Police were called to the scene at which the rider was pronounced dead

A motorcyclist has died after he crashed on a road he was riding on with a group.

The man, from Derbyshire, was just outside Rhos y Gwaliau, in Gwynedd, when it happened at 14:00 BST on Wednesday.

Police went to the scene after they were called by the ambulance service.

The biker was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of the emergency services.

Police said they are appealing for witnesses.
