Headteacher to attend court over child sex charge

A headteacher accused of child sex abuse will appear in court next month for a pre-trial hearing.

Neil Foden, 66, from Old Colwyn, Conwy county, is charged with sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 and sexual communication with a child.

He is set to attend Mold Crown Court on 16 October for a pre-trial preparation hearing.

Mr Foden was remanded in custody after appearing at Llandudno magistrates' court last week.
