Heavy rain has caused flooding and disruption with train cancellations in parts of south and mid Wales.

A Met Office yellow warning for rain across all of Wales and parts of England is in place until 20:00 BST on Friday.

Transport for Wales said "heavy flooding" had resulted in trains being cancelled in Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion.

A slip road on the M4 in Swansea was also partially flooded.

The Met Office warned the weather could make bus and train journeys longer and that spray and flooding on the roads could prolong journeys.

Rail services were cancelled between Carmarthen and Swansea, and between Machynlleth and Aberystwyth.

The line at Llandeilo Junction, in Carmarthenshire, was also blocked due to flooding.

Flooding also resulted in the partial closure of the B4318 in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.
