Wheelchair user wants intrusive questions to stop

A wheelchair user has said she wants to discourage unwanted questions or comments from strangers when she is exploring the outdoors.

Bethany Handley, 24, from Monmouth, said people have told her that her wheelchair "looks like fun" or should have a speed limit.

She also said a stranger asked if they could pray for her while she was having coffee with a friend.

She said it was hard to know how to respond to comments as people "mean well" but "don't know what to say".
