Gaming: Just Dance launches wheelchair-friendly routine

Seth, a gamer and wheelchair user from Dinas Powys, Vale of Glamorgan, visited the creators behind the hit game Just Dance at their Paris studios.

The 14-year-old said he loves gaming because it allows him to interact with his friends, even when he is not able to meet up with them in person.

The 2024 version of Just Dance includes a routine suitable for people in wheelchairs.

Stacey Jenkins, accessibility design specialist at creators Ubisoft, said: “Gaming for me was really my window into the world.

“Every game that we release that comes out, if that’s more accessible than the last, then we’re making good progress.”
