A head teacher awaiting trial accused of child sexual abuse is facing an additional six charges.

The new charges against Neil Foden involve five further complainants, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

They include three counts of sexual activity with a child and one of sexual activity with a child under 13.

Mr Foden, 66, from Old Colwyn, Conwy county, was initially arrested in September.

He has already been charged with three offences, including sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15 and sexual communication with a child.

Mr Foden, who has been suspended from his job as a head teacher, will appear at Caernarfon Magistrates Court on 23 November.
