National Eisteddfod reveals its 2025 Wrexham officials

Llinos Roberts has been elected chairwoman of the executive committee

Organisers of the National Eisteddfod have announced the names of the officials for its 2025 edition.

Llinos Roberts has been elected as chairwoman of the executive committee for the festival which takes place in Wrexham.

Originally from the area, she is currently head of corporate communications and the Welsh language at Coleg Cambria.

Wrexham last hosted the Eisteddfod in 2011.

Ms Roberts is said to be keen for the festival to reflect the drive for and constant challenge of keeping the language alive so close to the border.

She will be joined by a number of others who will steer the project over the next year-and-a-half.

"We're looking forward to working with Llinos and the team over the next few months as we prepare for the 2025 eisteddfod," said National Eisteddfod chief executive, Betsan Moses.

The National Eisteddfod will be held in Wrexham from 2-9 August 2025.
