A wedding DJ has admitted filming himself urinating on a cancer patient in a club toilet before posting it on social media.
Leigh Brookfield, 40, of Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, admitted common assault after the Boxing Day incident at Llanelli Tennis and Squash Club.
In a statement on social media Brookfield said: "It's just something me and the boys do when we are drunk".
He will be sentenced at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on 19 January.
In the footage, which was shown in court, Brookfield is seen standing next Peter Barton at the urinals of the club.
Mr Barton tells him about his serious health issues, prompting Brookfield to say "sorry to hear that bud" as he urinates on him.
His victim was unaware of what was happening at the time.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Brookfield said he was "deeply sorry".
"Until watching the video back I didn't realise that the nice gentleman next to me was going through health problems," he wrote, before deleting his account.
Prosecutor Lucy Mansfield said Mr Barton had just explained to Brookfield that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer before the incident took place.
"At the time the complainant did not realise he was being urinated on, but has since," she said.
Steven John, defending, asked for a pre-sentence report to be carried out to address Brookfield's alcohol use.
He added: "This was obviously committed in drink and there's a history of alcohol-related offending."
Brookfield was granted bail but warned "all options", including custody, would be considered when he is sentenced.
