Weather: Snow blankets parts of Wales as temperatures plunge
Parts of west and north Wales were blanketed in snow on Thursday morning following the coldest night of winter so far in the country.
Temperatures dropped as low as -9.1C (15.6F) at Tirabad near Sennybridge in Powys on Wednesday night.
Schools were closed in Ceredigion, Gwynedd, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Anglesey.
Driving conditions were difficult in many areas with snow and ice on the roads.
