Carmarthenshire: Lorry carrying human poo overturns on A485

Emergency services are attempting to clean up the spillage before the overturned lorry can be moved

A lorry carrying human poo has overturned on a main road in Carmarthenshire, causing traffic delays.

The vehicle tipped over on the A485 in the village of Rhydargaeau on Friday morning, partially blocking the road.

Emergency services worked to clean up the treated waste before the lorry could be removed.

Dyfed-Powys Police said nobody was injured.

A resident said it was the third crash along the affected stretch of road in a month.
