A mother has appeared in court after the alleged murder of her two-year-old son.

Shannon Kayleigh Ives, 27, is accused of causing or allowing Ethan Ives Griffiths to suffer serious physical harm.

Ethan died in Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool after suffering a head injury in Garden City, Flintshire, in August 2021.
