Two men accused of smuggling hundreds of illegal migrants will stand trial.
Dilshad Shamo, 42, and Ali Khdir, 40, from Caerphilly, allegedly ran a people smuggling operation, moving migrants from countries like Iraq and Syria through Europe to the UK.
The men were initially arrested by the National Crime Agency in April 2023 for assisting unlawful immigration.
They appeared at Cardiff Crown Court and will remain in custody until their trial on 4 November.
