Air ambulance called to A470 crash at Llanwrthwl, Powys

A serious crash involving two vehicles temporarily closed the A470 near Rhayader in Powys, causing delays on Saturday.

The incident affected the road between Rhayader and Newbridge on Wye from about noon.

An air ambulance was called to the scene but details of any casualties was not known.

Diversions were removed after the road reopened on Saturday afternoon.
