A Gypsy site in the Brecon Beacons National Park has won a housing award.

Powys council's housing service won the promoting equality and accessibility category at the Welsh Housing Awards for the Kings Meadow Gypsy site.

The awards are organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing Cymru and recognise good practice.

Councillor Gary Banks said: "I am delighted that we have delivered on the initiative and received this national recognition."
