A new chief executive and librarian has been appointed at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.
Linda Tomos is a qualified librarian who has been an observer on the library board for nine years.
She has worked with the library through various roles in the Welsh government.
Sir Deian Hopkin, the library's president, said Ms Tomos had a "distinguished record". She replaces Dr Aled Gruffydd Jones.
He stood down after an employment tribunal ruled two senior staff members were unfairly dismissed and an independent review criticised the management of the library.
