Plans for a protected marine area in Cardigan Bay for scallop dredging are damaging, conservationists have said.

Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Marine Conservation Society and ClientEarth also want the Welsh government to pull a consultation on the proposals.

They say it is unfairly weighted towards dredging and they say dredging "destroys almost everything".

They Welsh government said it would address any issues which may be found with the consultation.
