Body of man who fell in Newcastle Emlyn River Teifi found

The body of a 22-year-old man believed to have fallen into the River Teifi has been found, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to the scene, off Bridge Street in Newcastle Emlyn, at about 12:30 BST on Thursday.

Police, fire and ambulance services were involved in the search.

Dyfed-Powys Police said he has been formally identified by his next of kin and that there are no suspicious circumstances.
