Three options are being considered for the future of three primary schools in Ceredigion.

Ceredigion council's cabinet is looking to modernise the way education is delivered at Ysgol Beulah, Ysgol Trewen and Ysgol Cenarth.

The schools currently form a federation and share a head teacher.

Options include reducing the number of schools by closing Ysgol Beulah which has the lowest number of pupils and the highest cost per pupil.

Other suggestions that will be put to the council's School Review Panel are disbanding the existing federation and closing both Ysgol Beulah and Ysgol Trewen, or closing all three schools and opening a new school across the existing three sites.
