Probe after stones stolen from Erddig Hall in Wrexham
- Published
Police have appealed for information after heavy stones were stolen from a boundary wall at a stately home.
Up to 15 coping stone blocks were taken from the Erddig Hall estate, Wrexham, between the evening of 13 August and the morning of 14 August.
Officers believe several people were involved, and a large vehicle, because of the weight of the stones.
Anyone who saw anything suspicious on the Sontley Road is asked to call PC Andy Williams on 101.
The 18th Century house and gardens are owned by the National Trust.
