Pollution controls after factory fire at Chirk

Fire crews have brought a blaze at a factory in Chirk, near Wrexham, under control.
The fire broke out in an industrial drier in the production area of the Kronospan factory just after 0600 BST on Friday.
Crews remained at the scene after 25 firefighters from the north Wales service were called out.
Environment Agency Wales is making sure water being used to put out the fire does not cause any pollution.
Kronospan is a major manufacturer of fibreboard and chipboard and uses large volumes of formaldehyde in the manufacturing process.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said officers were monitoring the nearby stream, the Afon Bradley, for formaldehyde to determine if there is any environmental impact.
"Fire water is being safely discharged into the sewer system and is also being contained within the site lagoons," the spokesperson added.
Crews from Chirk, Llangollen, Wrexham and Deeside were on the scene, the fire service said.
