Chirk community hospital will remain shut over the weekend in a norovirus outbreak that has continued to close six wards at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Restrictions have been lifted on visiting open wards at the Maelor and Mold community hospital in Flintshire which has now re-opened.
On Friday, health officials said two wards at the Maelor were due to reopen over the weekend.
The next review of the situation at both hospitals takes place on Monday.
Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board said the number of patients and staff affected is slowly improving.
Initially, 66 patients and 10 staff had gone down with the bug.
At the height of the outbreak the Maelor was closed to visitors with some exceptions to maternity and paediatric wards and relatives of terminally or critically-ill patients.
The main symptoms of the norovirus infection are sudden nausea, stomach ache followed by severe "projectile" vomiting and / or diarrhoea.
Symptoms usually begin between 12 and 48 hours after a person becomes infected.
