Parc Prestatyn opens amid concerns for Rhyl businesses

A new retail park which it is hoped will create 675 jobs is opening in Prestatyn, Denbighshire.
However, there are concerns that the Parc Prestatyn development will have a negative effect on neighbouring Rhyl.
Two high street names, Marks & Spencer (M&S) and Next, pulled out of Rhyl to move to Prestatyn.
A new road layout has been created in Prestatyn, but Denbighshire council has warned people to expect "unprecedented" levels of traffic for a few weeks.
Business Minister Edwina Hart will cut a ribbon at the park's new Tesco store later on Thursday.
The local authority says any immediate increase in traffic is likely to subside "as motorists familiarise themselves" with Prestatyn's new traffic system.
M&S closed its Rhyl store on Wednesday with all 55 staff transferring to Prestatyn, where an extra 50 jobs have also been created.
