Bodelwyddan Castle beehive vandals hunted by police

  • Published

A colony of bees has died after nine hives were damaged in an incident at a country estate in Denbighshire.

Police say the culprits would probably have been stung when 1,000 bees were disturbed at an orchard at Bodelwyddan Castle.

Man-made hive frames were scattered and damaged in the incident sometime between 9 and 18 April.

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101.
