Zachary Davies denies machete attack murder bid

A man charged with attempted murder following a hammer and machete attack at a Tesco store in Mold, north Wales, has appeared in court.

Zachary Davies, 25, of Mold, appeared in Mold Crown Court via video link from Ashworth Hospital to deny attempting to murder Sarandev Bhambra of Leeds.

Mr Bhambra, 24, suffered deep cuts to his head, back and hands following an assault in January.

The trial was adjourned until 22 June. Mr Davies was remanded in custody.
