Anglesey gypsy and traveller site consultation starts
- Published
A fresh consultation into temporary stopping places for gypsies and travellers has been launched by Anglesey council.
It needs to find two areas and has proposed five potential sites along the A5/A55 corridor.
The move comes after plans for a permanent site on land near Menai Bridge were approved in May.
Anglesey council, like all local authorities, has to meet the accommodation needs of the communities.
The consultation lasts until 1 July and includes a series of drop in sessions and meetings, external with town and community councils.
