Motorists using town centre car parks in Flintshire will have to pay after the local authority rubber stamped the move.

The council hopes to raise £438,000 in the current financial year with staff working at County Hall in Mold also set to pay £12 for an annual permit.

The council has been operating a pilot parking payment scheme for 12 months.

It hopes the permanent move, agreed by cabinet on Tuesday, will help protect services threatened by budget cuts.
