A new library has been opened at Holywell Leisure Centre after a £120,000 investment.

Friday's move followed a similar one in Queensferry where services moved into Deeside Leisure Centre.

Both newly-created facilities are part of a council shake-up which led to other library closures, partly due to funding cuts.

Leader of Flintshire council Aaron Shotton said the new library in Holywell would become a "modern hub".
