Man dies in BMW hedge crash in Loggerheads, near Mold

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a car crash near Mold in Flintshire.

North Wales Police said his body was found in a grey BMW which had gone into a hedge on Ruthin Road in Loggerheads at about 12:00 GMT on Sunday.

Officers believe the crash took place at about 19:30 GMT the previous evening.

The man has not yet been named but is said to be from Flintshire.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the car travelling on the A494 from the direction of Llanferres towards Mold prior to the collision to contact them.
