A councillor has been re-elected as leader of Flintshire council, following the local elections.

Aaron Shotton, who was first elected leader in May 2012, represents the Connah's Quay Central ward.

The council saw Labour secure the most votes - 34 - at the elections earlier this month but the party failed to achieve a majority.

Councillor Bernie Attridge has been re-elected deputy leader.
