Plans to convert shipping containers to make accommodation for homeless people have been given the go-ahead.
Wrexham council wants to use land at the rear of Ty Nos homeless shelter on Holt Road for four containers for temporary accommodation, external.
They will include a double bedroom, kitchen, toilet and shower room.
At a meeting on Monday afternoon, the council's planning committee unanimously approved the plans.
Volunteers have been handing out warm clothing to homeless people in the town during the cold weather.
Cardiff council announced similar plans for eight units in October.
