A cyclist is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after a crash on the A470, say police.
North Wales Police were called to Bwlch Oerddrws, north of Dinas Mawddwy, Gwynedd, at about 1700 BST on Sunday.
Police said the cyclist was taken to hospital in Aberystwyth with "serious" injuries, then moved to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or 0845 6071002, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The road was partially closed southbound for about four hours while police investigated.
