Flood defences completed at Llandulas, Conwy

New defences have been completed in a Conwy village where three homes flooded last year.
High tides and a storm surge led to flooded homes in Beach Road, Llandulas, as water breached a sea wall.
Environment Agency Wales officers have raised the level of the village's flood bund and homes have been provided with flood guards for the front doors.
The level of a nearby road has also been raised by Conwy council to prevent it being flooded.
David Edwell, north area manager for Environment Agency Wales, said: "Living with the threat of flooding is not pleasant - as the residents of Beach Road can testify.
"One in six properties in Wales are at risk from flooding from rivers, the sea and surface water and while we can't remove the possibility of flooding we are working to reduce the chances of it happening in the future."
