Police say they would still like to speak to anyone who may have information

A man has been charged with murdering a fellow Slovak whose body was found in Bala, Gwynedd, on Saturday.

Julius Hecko, 23, is charged with murdering Branislav Gula, 42, at a property in Plassey Street.

He is scheduled to appear at Caernarfon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

North Wales Police said four other people arrested in connection with assisting an offender have been released on bail, and inquiries are continuing.

Senior investigating officer Det Chief Insp Andrew Williams said: "I would like to appeal to anyone in the community who may have witnessed events leading up to the evening of Saturday 10 November, or in fact anyone who can assist us complete a full picture and background, to contact the police."
