Speed cut outside Flintshire schools is welcomed

Plans to introduce 20mph zones outside every school in Flintshire have been welcomed.

Flintshire Council will implement the restrictions outside 50 schools in the county, which do not currently have them, within two years.

It will cost about £50,000 and the speed limits will be introduced in phases.

Alyn and Deeside AM Carl Sargeant said Flintshire was "leading the way" on road safety and listening to residents.
