4.5% council tax rise on Anglesey for 2015/16 budget

  • Published

Residents living on Anglesey will face a rise in council tax after the budget was agreed by councillors.

They will pay 4.5% more in 2015/16, half-a-percent less than what was originally proposed.

Anglesey council said it had listened to feedback from residents, town and community councillors.

The authority said it will continue to modernise key services while trying to avoid closing facilities and amenities most valued by the public.
